D&AD NEW BLOOD AWARDS ‘19

If you were to predict the New Blood Awards process, how would the future read? Working on the new 2019 campaign, this question drew me into a world of tarot cards and fortune tellers. But winning shouldn’t be about fate or fortune. Fuck luck. It’s about crafting, grafting and taking it on.

So I wanted the creative to subvert that tarot aesthetic instead, to play on the iconography of the cards and flip the passive mind set of ‘I wish’ to an active mantra of ‘I will’.
